Cape Wickham and Ocean Dunes are set to host King Island’s largest-to-date tournament and first Pro Am on the 14th and 15th of May, with a field of approximately 100 golfers (75 amateurs & 25 professionals) set to play the island’s 2 main courses.
The landmark event for King Island is being organised by Air Adventure in partnership with the PGA of Australia and both respective courses. The 1st day will be played at Cape Wickham, and the 2nd day at Ocean Dunes.
The tournament will include a team competition (comprised of 3 amateurs & 1 professional) which uses the best two stableford scores per hole, as well as an individual stableford competition. Nearest to pins competitions will be in place on all Par 3s.
Professionals will be competing for a purse of $24,200 in a separate 2 day stroke play competition.
